Going into the New Year, I should be feeling happier than ever. Officially done with army, started school, life should be a whole lot better. Instead, I'm sulking over health issues. 2013 was good until the last quarter when I fell sick and met with some throat complications. To make matters worse, I now have an ear infection from the most unlikely of causes- cotton buds? Fair enough, I didn't know these seemingly harmless things could do such damage. It couldn't have come at a better time.
