I borrowed 2 books from the library recently. Usually I borrow comics but this time I got a proper book to read. I wasn't looking for any book in particular but this one caught my eye. It must have been the larger font size of the author's name, Ali Smith. I guess all I wanted to know was if the author is a he or she, turns out she is a she. So, cool. Then I saw the title- 'the first person and other stories' and I thought this book would be ideal because I have short attentions spans. To reassure myself, I read the first page of the book where the author wrote about these 2 random men she sees in a cafe, presumably father and son. It was pretty interesting the way she expressed her thoughts and what came out of it just by looking at them so I got the book. The other one's a Spider-Man comic with a storyline set in 1933, also interesting.
I have read neither since they've landed on my table but I'm going to. Before bed, considering making it a habit.
